Official Rules for 2026 Best of the Colony Chamber - Run for the Roses

Voting Method and Requirements:

• Votes can be made by logging in to thecolonychamber.voterfly.com beginning March 4th, 2026

Voting Limits:

• Each person may vote only once per Contender Name in a category.  You may vote for more than one contender in a category.

Nominee Eligibility:

• Any company may be nominated.  Nominations will be accepted through April 2nd, 2026
• All winning companies must have a current active Colony Chamber of Commerce Membership.
• Eligibility is solely the discretion of The Colony Chamber of Commerce

Voting Period:

• Voting will close at Midnight April 10th, 2026

Category Limits:

• Nominees may appear in multiple categories. 

Ballot Security Measures:

• Votes suspected of being duplicates will be removed.

Results and Announcements:

• All competition results are held privately by the The Colony Chamber of Commerce  of Commerce.
• Winners will be announced on April 24th at the Best of The Colony Run for The Roses Gala Award Event.
• Winners will receive a Best of Category 2026 Award to proudly display, newsletter recognition and bragging rights.

Purpose of the Competition:

• The goal of The Best of The Colony Run for the Roses Gala is to create awareness of the great small businesses in The Colony Chamber of Commerce Community.  We aim to make the competition enjoyable for all participants.
